when i was working on this series a a kind of mantra came to me. the uniformity in image made a kind of uniformity in story. so read, watch and think about it.

“who are you?” the startled man asked, “why do you cross my path? i don’t know you. i have never seen you. i know my world, i know the ice, the intense cold, the great planes, the sand where i can build a shelter, i know every plant we can eat, i know my clan, i know the gods and i fear them, the great bear, the tiger, the greatest of all mammoth, but i don’t know you, you are something i’ve never seen, i don’t have a name for you. i’m afraid of you.”
“do not fear. i’m the spirit of your morning. i wish you no harm. i came to tell you who you are. you are great. you and your kin and your kind are the ones that will grow, flourish, multiply, intensify. you are intelligent and wise. those many possibilities you have! choose and choose wise. all will be good.”

who are you?” the startled men asked, “why do you cross our path? we don’t know you. we have never seen you. we know our world, we know the cities, the kings and queens, all the nations and our god and gods! we pray, work, obey, make money and spend it. we know man, men and all the beasts in nature, but we don’t know you, you are something we’ve never seen, we don’t have a name for you. we are afraid of you.”
“do not fear. i’m the spirit of your noon. i wish you no harm. i came to tell you who you are. you are great. you and your kin and your kind are the ones that will grow, flourish, multiply, intensify. you are intelligent and wise. those many possibilities you have! choose and choose wise.”

i know who you are!” man said, “why do you cross my path? i don’t have to know you. i don’t have to see you. go away. i know my world, i know my physical world, my transphysical world, my subphysical world, my artificial physical intelligent world, the world of controlled possibilities, the boundaryless world of beyond the speed of light, i know the infinite numbers of pi, i know the possible worlds to choose from, i know hyper intelligence, unlimited free energy and especially: i know you. go away, you don’t have any business here. i’m not afraid of you.”
“so do not fear. i’m the spirit of your evening and night. i wish you no harm. i came to tell you who you are. you are the last one. you and your kind will perish. there will be nothing to remember, nothing to fear, nothing to see, hear, smell, taste, feel. you are intelligent and a wise man but in your many possibilities you have nothing left to choose. you will disappear.”
